Heya Plates | Handmade Stoneware Plates
The Heya Plates are handmade stoneware plates, wheel thrown in Barcelona and available in two sizes for different moments at the table. The Small size suits salads, starters, desserts or a light meal, while the Large size is sized for main dishes, shared plates or a considered dinner setting.
Part of the Heya Collection, the plates are finished with a reactive glaze available in five earthy tones, Sand, Smoke, Blue/Brown, Blue/Green and Green/Black. Each tone develops its own texture and subtle colour shifts during firing, so every one of these handmade ceramic plates is a little different from the next. Choosing a tone becomes part of the experience of bringing a piece of Heya home.
Made from high-fired stoneware, these handmade ceramic plates are sturdy enough for daily use, whether at home or in a café or small restaurant looking for tableware with genuine identity. The two sizes pair naturally together for a coordinated table setting, from a starter through to the main course.
Because they're finished entirely in stoneware and glaze, both sizes are safe for daily use in the dishwasher and microwave, and easy to care for over many years.
